As an IT specialist I know this kind of information is a treasure trove for anyone with bad intents and I do not understand why all this information is needed for an antivirus to function. If you use your computer for work related purposes you should not be using this software. Be careful!

As a result of this, I had to take my laptop to a computer repairs specialist to be completely reset, putting me out of pocket $200 when I least need this type of situation as I am already under financial pressure. In my opinion Kaspersky should be paying for this, not me, and I will be following up with a formal complaint.

I would also like to add, when I went to drop my computer off to be fixed, the computer repairs specialist told me that he would not choose to use their software as even though they make themselves out to be among the producers of the best antivirus software, in reality it's actually pretty poor quality and can be ineffective and advised me to switch.

Convieniently, Kaspersky do not list a phone number or email address on their online website, nor on their official Facebook page, which would prove beneficial and convienient to customers as it would allow them quick, easy access to support, therefore providing customers with less hassle when it comes to having their queries solved. This demonstrates the company's complete lack of care for their customers needs and complete disregard for providing quality customer service.

I also found both on their online website and Facebook page that they have no function customers can use to leave reviews of their experiences with Kaspersky products. Seriously? What are they trying to hide? Other bad reviews?

I was finally able to access some support from kaspersky by messaging them through their Facebook page, however I found this service was disappointingly slow, with the time they took to reply to each of my questions taking on average a whole day. This is just simply not helpful enough for someone who's job is dependent on them having a fully functioning and healthily performing computer.

I will never be buying from Kaspersky again. Both their products and customer service have a long way to go, and in total, caused me to lose money.

I do not recommend using kaspersky antivirus products to protect your computer, nor do I recommend their customer service.
